We grew this!
And it's delicious, too!~ Our HUGE melon patch only grew four melons, two of which never made it past ostrich-egg size. One, which grew so fast it was a source of amusement, was the first that we picked. We thought, "Hey, it's really big, it must be ready to eat." Alas. It was white inside. We each had a few bites and it was still surprisingly sweet, but.. well.. it was white!
This beauty, however, was all a melon should be. Tender, juicy, sweet.. and RED! I'll quote that big-mouth Rachael Ray and say a hearty 'Yummo!'
