I Do Believe We've Been Had

I am saddened.  Not just on a personal level as a woman with a daughter who has now got to try and figure out just what rights will be left for her when she grows... our new Majority government leader (I can barely type that) is extreme right wing and has already decimated our freedoms and our economy.  Now he has 'the divine right of Kings.'

I see a political landscape emerging:  Right vs Left, just as it is in the States.  No offence to my American Friends but the US system is frightening in its polarity.  You have no real choice there.  I believe the powers that be have engineered Canada into the same position.  I voted for the Left wing party here and still like them - but I hate to see any other party get as demolished as our Liberal Party did in this election.  And, from what I can piece together from the campaigning, it might have been the plan all along.

I might be over-reacting.

I'm sad today.
