In response to yesterday's comments, I took a wee bit of time and randomly chose two straight-on mug shots from Google Images and treated them the same way I did Jared Loughner's mug shot. Here are the results:
 |
| identified as Joe Nacchio |
 |
| Keiffer Sutherland |
As you can see, their 'two faces' are definitely discernible. I argue that they aren't as stark as Loughner's, at least from his mug shot photo. In both of the samples above, it seems that the greatest difference has to do with the widths of one side of the face versus the other. Slight droops in the eyes one one side, a little more curl on the lip on one side. But in these pictures the two versions of each could be brothers of each other, at least.
Anyway, I did this just as an artistic expression of the tragic event in Arizona. Take from it what you will - I'm an artist, I'm used to it. ;)
I'm also thinking now that the mug shot might include some swelling & a black eye - after all, reportedly Loughner was tackled at the scene, and I don't want to suggest that police brutality is a given or anything.. but it is a possibility.
