This little critter was wandering on my workspace today, perhaps trying to find her spots in the paint on the plastic table cover. It seems so sad to be a bug with a distinctive identity and yet have part of that identity be absent. Is a spotless lady-bug still a lady-bug?

Ahh, I like ladybugs, although their lifespan is short with my cats about. I always try to rescue them. Maybe this ladybug is a minimalist? She definitely does not adhere to the pointilist (yes, the spelling is off) school of painting.
