Sunny Periods

Sunny Periods
30" x 30" oil on canvas

Another one complete. Actually, it's been complete for a while, but I've finally gotten around to photographing and editing it. :)
Life is hectic - not too much going on physically, really, but a lot of mental gymnastics lately with the planning of Junior going off to university. Should she stay at home to save money? How much will going away cost? How to break the news to her father? Will she actually survive in this big, bad world so far away from her support system? (Gosh she'll be just 17!) How will the following years go?
And with that change comes the real possibility of big changes for myself and my husband, too. He could apply for jobs in cities that heretofore had been crossed off our list in the pursuit of providing stability for our daughter while she was in the formative years.
Stratford? there's a HUGE arts community there, and it's close to the school of our daughter's choice.
Nice, France? There are job opportunities there, too, and France is glorious.
Stay put here? That way she'd be able to think fondly of coming home to familiarity & comfort, instead of wondering what the new place will be like.. lonely?
So much to think about.
Anyway - painting is still my passion, and I hope you will enjoy this latest effort.
Peace & Joy!
