Isn't it perfect?
We had a brief few hours of sunshine yesterday and I took a look at our strawberry patch. Lo and behold, one lonely red globe caught my eye. It was gorgeous and red all the way around. I am not afraid to admit to you that I ate it shortly after taking its photograph and it was the most delicious, sweet, tender berry I've ever tasted. No pesticides - no tricky stuff. Earth, seed, water & sunlight.
In order to keep me sane from my dreadful job and the dreadful environment there, I have also been painting. I have several new works, but in the spirit of bright colours I'll post a photo of "The Cotillion" :

This piece is part of a Day of the Dead collection I've been working on. It's terrific to just lose myself in the fantasy, the simplistic shapes & bold hues.
Check out all my work on ebay here.

I love the colors and the strange contrast between the cheerfulness of the work and the skelletal subjects. It's like Tim Burton meets Disney..or something..
Anyway, I like it!
