Work In Progress - Mar 24

My friend has requested that her husband buy her some original art for her birthday.  She has a specific place in her house in mind for a piece, and she likes my florals.  Other than telling me to avoid green and yellow, she hasn't given me much more to go on, so I hope the below will please her.  We'll see:

I plan to deepen the grassland using many different tones, and I think I'll add more colour to the band of off-white sky beneath the clouds.  Maybe another poppy stem as well.  Doing these works by request is always a nail-biter, and I do try and avoid it.  But.. she's my BFF, so I made an exception. :)
