I got an unexpected Christmas gift this year: two sales of original works that came through my website www.sherrinelson.ca That prompted me to go immediately to the art supply store and pick up another large canvas (well.. as soon as they re-opened I was there, anyway!) I am almost sold out of my paintings at this point, which is terrific and I'm very thankful.. but it means that I have work to do!
There's a good amount of work left to do but I'm really feeling the movement in the larger, pink floral, and I like the immediacy of the blue/white flower.

These have such movement and life in them, especially the dark pink, keep up the good work ! Gina
I like the detailing of the individual petals. The shading is very good. I'm so pleased that you had such a successful year and I hope that 2011 continues to be that way.
